The Federal Bureau of Investigation Field Office in Minneapolis, MN is a five-story Class A LEED Gold Office Campus that will serve as the central command post for FBI law enforcement activities in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The campus consists an office building and a vehicle maintenance annex. The office building will house typical office and service functions as well as specialized functions such as forensic evidence processing and storage, investigation processing and interview, polygraph examinations. The project included challenging parking requirements due to the pre-selected site. Molasky collaborated with the neighborhood community as well as the county, site and state to garner acceptance, as well as cooperation and assistance. Additionally the FBI’s Program of Requirements is a critical component of their mission and adherence to the programs adjacencies and space utilization is important to their operation and success, necessitating a detailed and highly organized response system during the design and construction phase of the project.
