The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Milwaukee offices’ move to St. Francis on Wednesday marks a significant milestone for the operation.
Previously located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. in downtown Milwaukee, FBI leaders hosted a ceremony revealing the new headquarters at 3600 S. Lake Drive in St. Francis, overlooking Lake Michigan. The Molasky Group of Companies of Las Vegas purchased the former Stark Investments headquarters in February 2015 for $12.75 million.
The U.S General Services Administration agreed to lease the 82,000-square-foot building and has a 20-year lease. The facility originally was built as the headquarters for manufacturer Harnischfeger, now Joy Global Inc., then was sold and became the headquarters for Stark.
